L'InterestRank - How does it work?
The InterestRank is a ranking system for portfolios designed by Artfolio. It evaluates the behavior of visitors on each portfolio to gauge their level of interest.
- A visitor interested in the portfolio increases the InterestRank
- A visitor with little interest decreases the InterestRank
- The InterestRank doesn't depend on the number of visitors
The InterestRank is scored from 0 to 100,000. It's recalculated daily at 01:00 [GMT + 01:00] based on the data from the past 15 days.

A visitor's interest is piqued when the portfolio's content matches their search.
- Focus on the quality and layout of your portfolio.
- On the Artfolio directory, only add the artistic profile(s) that truly align with the content showcased in your portfolio. Accurately assess your experience level and select only the type of work that are represented in your portfolio. For example, if you're an actor but your portfolio mainly shows your modeling profile, then only add that. A user looking for an actor will quickly leave your portfolio if they don't find what they're searching for. (The same rule applies if, for instance, you're a photographer specializing in portraits and you choose the "Architecture" type of work while your portfolio doesn't display any such photos).
- For the categories Actors, Singers, Musicians, Dancers, and Videographers, it's highly recommended to feature at least one media right on the homepage. This could be a demo reel, a music clip, or a vocal track. To add a media, copy the URL from the page containing your video or track on YouTube, Vimeo, or SoundCloud. In the text editor, click on the ▶️ icon and paste the URL. Generally, all artistic profiles would benefit from integrating videos into their portfolio. Note: the views from videos on your portfolio add to the view counters on the original platforms, enhancing the visibility of your media on those platforms.
How to Gauge Your Visitors' Interest?
Two key indicators are available in your portfolio's statistics. the average number of pages viewed per visitor and the bounce rate. The latter represents the percentage of visitors who leave the site after viewing only one page. A low rate is a good sign.

Why is my InterestRank at Zero ?
Your portfolio may be too recent, you must wait for 10 days from the date of creation to receive your first assessment. If your InterestRank is below 10,000, the bar is shown in grey.
